Like a wreath they embrace the square, jewels of Quattrocento architecture. Some others adorn the streets of the town. Like the Cathedral, they are evidence of the prosperity period which followed the Venetian conquest of 1405.

Remarkable is Lombardesco (or Magnavin) Palace, in Venetian Gothic style and its magnificent window.
Here lived Gattamelata, the famous Venetian leader, and it is thought that here his wife lived until her death.

Villa pisani was built outside the walls in front of the Castle by Andrea Palladio in 1553. It is a compact building, and it shows in its frontal facade a double order of columns and a fronton with the Pisani coat-of-arms.On both sides of it, two winged figures representing Fame.

Inside there is one of the most graceful of Palladian halls, which are always the heart of the Venetian Villas of the period. Four stucco statues by Vittoria, representing the Four Seasons, adorn it.
